The Sub-Branch is open on Friday evenings from 5.30pm.
Meals can be ordered in the Pool Room and collected at the Kitchen door from 6 p.m.
During medical leave for our Chef - Meal options may be limited.
Drinking Water and Tea or Coffee is available from the Bar.

The Morphett Vale RSL will be conducting Sausage Sizzles each month at Bunnings NOARLUNGA Store, as listed on the Calendar Page.
Please support the Sub-Branch and the volunteers on duty by coming down and purchasing a sausage.

Morphett Vale is a suburban area 25 kilometres south of the Adelaide CBD.
The RSL Sub-Branch was founded on April 26th. 1926.

Guests are welcome, but of course if you visit often we will probably ask you to become a member. Membership details can be found on the Membership button above.

Where to find us

The RSL Sub-Branch is located at 8 Robertson Avenue, Morphett Vale SA 5162.
Enter off Shefriffs Road via Wilson Avenue or Hillier Road via Ragan Road and Wilson Avenue.

The Sub-Branch is open Fridays from 5.30pm.
Meals are available between 6.00pm and 8.00pm.

Remembrance Events and Activities

Each year the the Sub-Branch hosts community activities including; Digger Day Football Competion, ANZAC Youth Vigil in the South (on ANZAC Eve), ANZAC DAY Dawn Service on April 25th. and Remembrance Day Commemoration on November 11th.

About the Returned Sailors and Soldiers Imperial League of Australia

Formed in 1916, it became the Returned Sailors', Soldiers' and Airmens Imperial League of Australia in 1940, and became the Returned Services League of Australia in 1965.

The change to its current name of Returned & Services League of Australia was made in 1990 to reflect the organisation's concern for current as well as former servicemen and servicewomen.

The current National President of the League is Major General A.G. [Greg] Melick AO RFD SC

The Returned and Services League of Australia (South Australian Branch) are responsible under the constitution for seeking benefits and provision of welfare for serving and ex-service men and women, and their dependants, conservatively speaking, the RSL in South Australia currently has an obligation to approximately 40,000 ex-service men and women, their widows and dependants.

Aims and objectives

To perpetuate the close ties of friendship created by mutual service in the Australian Defence Force or allied forces, to maintain a proper standard of dignity and honour among all past and present serving members of the Defence Force and to set an example of public spirit and noble hearted endeavour;

To preserve the memory and records of those who suffered and died for Australia;

To provide for the sick and wounded and needy among those who have served and their dependents including pensions, medical attention, homes and hospital visiting;

To inculcate loyalty to the Nation, to guard to good name and preserve the interests and standing of members of the Defence Force; and

To promote our policy on national questions, particularly:

The unity of the Commonwealth of Nations

The Defence of Australia

The maintenance of a sustainable and selective immigration policy

The development of a national Defence infrastructure and Defence industry,

The promotion and proper employment of the nation's natural resources
